I book myself and, as an independent artist, I rely heavily on word of mouth and folks like you to book and promote shows in your area. If you see that I am going to be touring near you and you’re interested in booking a show (church, house concert, college, alternate venue) while I’m in the area, let it be known that I would be glad to work with you. It will probably save you money, since you’d be able to split the travel costs with the other events/promoters and I’d have more flexibility on the honorarium. It’s worth considering.
