		<description>I've never understood the whole "putting him/her down" thing either... it also reminds me of that scene in Ghostbusters 2 when Bill Murray starts making fun of the kid after being asked to "put him down".</description>

		<description>Ha! Our friends who just went on a week's vacation with their 6 month-old said the same thing!!

On the other hand, our little man has been sleeping in the same room with us since he was born, and though at the beginning it took me some time to get used to his nighttime noises, I've learned to turn off my mommy radar for certain sounds. We've slept quite well.

Last night however, after 4 months with us, Jacob slept in his own room-- in his new crib-- for the first time! I think I spent more time worrying...and I'm just not used to the monitor yet...oh well. To each his own, I guess.</description>
