I just read this interview and noticed that my church brother in Wisconsin, Roger Hamilton, responded to this interview some time ago. I was present at the concert with Andrew and Eric and was very moved by the music of both artists and have since bought both men’s albums. For me, the music of Eric Peters, though, touched the greatest chord within me and his CDs maintain a constant place on my CD player as well as in my heart. As a music educator, the interview of the struggling independent artist was fascinating. As a fan of Eric’s, his honesty and sincerity regarding his circumstances and the reality of the music industry for a “lone wolf” like Eric left me saddened. The world needs to hear this music! (I guess it’s time for me to locate one of Eric’s songs on my laptop and regain a more hopeful attitude.)
